the hotel was contemporary and the staff were amiable. the downtown is within 15 minutes' walk. they have on-site restaurant called noir kitchen bar. nice comfy base for exploring smithers.

Boston Pizza, where you can eat, is within walking distance to the hotel. We do recommend it to family. Really really close to Smithers Art Gallery...
